Day 95 - Eating Slowly

When everything is done in a hurry then eating meals is no different. More calories are consumed when you eat fast and your body does not take time to register that it is full. Take time to savor your food, put your fork down between bites and drink lots of water. Practice eating slow by setting a timer (at home) for 20 minutes.

I feel like when I am hungry I really scarffle things down and then I find myself wanting more. However, I have learned that if I wait 20 minutes I get the satisfied feeling. Soooo....if I just slow down and appreciate my food that works too!!!
