Lowering Cancer Risk

I've long been a fan of Dr. Oz and his T.V. show. Today he talked about cancer and what could decrease or increase your risks. For example two sodas a week could double your risk of Pancreatic cancer as it puts the pancreas into overdrive and can't handle the increase in insulin.

He also suggested limiting alcohol to one drink a day, brush and floss teeth twice daily, and take a baby Aspirin as little as once a month to reduce the risks of pancreatic cancer.

To lower the risk of stomach cancer, avoid food with nitrates, which aren't regulated by the FDA, and which convert to cancer causing components. He recommended staying away from sausage, salami, bologna, lunch meat and bacon. Blood type A is at a higher risk.
