Whole 30 - Day 8

Healthy hormones (It Starts With Food Chapter 5)
Hormones are like a thermostat, keeping your body at a healthy range. If your body is off balance, the "thermostat" (hormones) tells your body to use or store nutrients. Insulin is a big player, influencing energy and controlling storage of blood sugar. Following the Whole 30 plan will keep your body in a stable range. To look at how food affects your day, read pages 54 - 57 in the It Starts With Food book.

Scrambled eggs

Lunch
Road turkey and butternut squash
cashews

Dinner
Baked potato
Italian sausage
Banana
