My Fitness Pal is a great tool for weight loss. It tracks calories, carbs, fat and protein. You can use it online or with an app on your phone. It's worth trying out. It also has an area to import recipes and log exercise.

I did well on the Whole 30 diet, but found that there was far more meat than I was used to and the vegetarian diet didn't sound appealing. Nevertheless I did lose pounds on it, but need to get started again with tracking to get rid of the remaining stubborn ones.
