Day 26 - Dietary Fiber

Dietary Fiber has many benefits one of which is slowing the digestive process down. A diet high in fiber also helps the colon to function correctly. Read an article about the South Beach Diet and fiber here. The recommended daily fiber for a woman is 21 – 25 grams. You will find lists of high fiber foods here

I went a little over 1,200 calories today and reached only 6,400 steps on my pedometer, but I went swimming for at least 30 minutes.
