Day 73 - Fish and Seafood

Eating fish twice a week is recommended, but beware of high levels of mercury and farmed fish that may be fed on grain rather than nutrient rich plants.

View the Monterey Bay Aquarium web site for up to date information on healthy seafood choices. Read their Super Green List to limit intake of mercury and PCBs (industrial chemicals).

I know when Weight Watchers was founded, it was required to eat fish at least twice a week. Thank goodness it's evolved beyond just eating fish.

I like tuna, but I do worry about the Mercury and such in it. I really enjoy your blog. Lots of timely information here.

I posted a blueberry salsa recipe, don't know if you like blueberries or not. Hosted a Splenda party this past weekend and found lots of low fat recipes to make, not bad either. I enjoyed the Citrus Salsa and Pineapple dip the most.

Thanks for stopping by the other day.

Fish is one of those things that I wished I could like. No matter how hard I try I just cant make myself like it :( Its a shame because it is so good for you.
