It’s January 1 and those lists of New Year’s Resolutions are being written a little slower and with more care than the wish list to Santa. On the top of most is weight loss. Not only losing the pounds packed on from Halloween to Christmas but also the ones that didn’t quite come off from January to Labor Day. This year I’m concentrating on better choices which means less processed food and more fresh or fresh/frozen veggies and fruit. Dave Zinczenko’s book Eat This Not That has great suggestions and if you want to curb your appetite for fast food hamburgers, just read what’s really in them – they’re cheap for a reason.
