Greek style yogurt has cornstarch, gelatin, whey and protein added to make it thicker and closer to the consistency of Greek yogurt.
Also avoid flavored yogurt which adds sugar and you're getting less yogurt in the container. Add your own natural fruit to plain yogurt. Make sure it doesn't have added sugar which may be masked as fruit juice concentrate, honey or fructose.
Some new yogurts made with sheep or goats milk may have more protein but the taste may be a little different from that which we are used to.
Icelandic style yogurt (Skyr) was considered to be the best with 25 grams of protein and low in sugar.
