We spent July 4th week-end at a German village in the Texas Hill Country. I decided before I left that I wouldn't write everything I ate in my journal. I tried to make healthy choices, but by the third day I was eating French fries and sandwiches and a slice of chocolate cake. It doesn't take long to get back into bad habits. I did walk a lot though and reached over 11,000 steps on the day I wore my pedometer. Yesterday we hiked up Enchanted Rock which was definitely a work out.
Today, I stayed within 1,200 calories, reached nearly 7,000 steps on the pedometer and mowed the grass.
