Day 48 - Eggs

Eggs are high in protein. A Harvard article recommends not more than one egg a day unless you eat only the egg white (the yolk contains cholesterol). Prevention Magazine goes further to explain labels such as free range. Although provided with outdoor access, free range chickens may be de-beaked and live in a paved area. Look for stamps showing pasture-raised or certified humane raised and handled.
