I can't say I've ever looked at the active ingredients in antiperspirants so when a friend noted it was aluminum I was shocked. Aluminum chloro-hydrate is a type of salt. Although studies are not clear if there is any relation to aluminum chloro-hydrate in antiperspirants and cancer, it doesn't seem to me to be a good idea to slather our underarms with the stuff. There are antiperspirants out there that do not contain aluminum.
