This smoothie, that has fat, fiber and protein, tastes just like apple pie. Although the recipe suggests grinding the apple and almonds in a food processor first, I used a blender similar to the Magic Bullet and in a few seconds everything was blended into a smoothie.
5 raw almonds
apple with skin
3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup nonfat milk
frozen banana cut in chunks
1/2 teasp. cinnamon
Blend until smooth.
